Summer School Course at Ca'Foscari University, Venice

The Venice Center for International Jewish Studies has announced the upcoming course "Traveling Jews: Histories, Literatures, Cultures," which will take place at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy, this summer: June 18th - July 28th, 2012.

The course will be taught by Distinguished Professor Murray Baumgarten (Comparative Literature, University of California Santa Cruz) and by Prof. Simon Levis Sullam (Contemporary History, Ca' Foscari University). The course will be dedicated to European cities and Jewish writers of novels and short stories during the 19th and 20th centuries. For more information, contact levissmn@unive.it.
